History and Current Assignments
Slottsån was formed in year 2000 to start a project investment in Åkersberga, 30 km north of Stockholm. The development included dredging a boat canal, creating new seafront villa lots and a boat marina. After negotiations with neighbours, contractors, municipality and county, as well as an environmental court decision, the venture was completed successfully.
The investment activities are currently at rest. Instead we are focusing solely on cunsultancy assignments. In spring 2009 we were hired by Almi Företagspartner, the Swedish Government venture capitalist, in order to create a new financing and credit policy, a work initiated after a 2 bn SEK capital infusion made by the Government, in order to ease the credit crunch crisis effects.
We have a joint cooperation with the Ryal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH), regarding consultancy assignments within the real estate sector. The cooperation has among other things led to that we are repesenting KTH as presenters at an international real estate convension in Teheran, in January 2010. We will also participate by designing special work shops regarding real estate financing.
We are lecturers and tutors at the financial program at KTH for real estate engeneers, and during 2010 we will also give lectures at the private banking advisor program at Finek.
During 2009 we have assisted the property company CT Invest and the building contractor Modul 1, with extensive corporate credit analysis and mediating bank financing. We have also arranged contacts with direct investors and a set-up for a simplified form of securitization.
In 2010 we will largely be engaged in workout banking, restructuring credits. We also cooperate with Real Competence, in designing financial analysis tools and models for real estate company clients. |
